One, Who comes on the bull, Who is the essence of

vedas, Who is loving for those who reach out to Him,

Who is beyond comprehension for anybody, Who wears

ganga in the matted hair - the Lord of

thiruvanpArththAn panaN^kATTUr where vALai fishes flow

in the canals, Him, if one doesn't rely on, what

good is their reliance ?

 

Notes:

1. To rely on somebody and be safe the person relied

on

should be good and at the same time capable. While all

the other dependencies would vary in degree in these

aspects, it is the reliance on Lord shiva that is the

ultimate and the fulfilling one. If one doesn't seek

that God, what good is the support they have ?!
