Guest guest
dear sister usha.. my statement was NOT MEANT to be an attack to your American husband of European ancestry ... i was stating my opinion like everyone else here.. i am not a forensics anthropologist but i have assisted numerous professors in that field in terms of translation.. OK. you ssaid the central asians were NORMADIC -- think about this? wehy would a peaple leave their home in search for another? Naturally due to depletion of grazing land or whatever their source of income.. Now, think about this.. THey were living in an era where migration was difficulr due to a couple of reasons.. such as food, attcks by bandits and bla bla.. Inmagine if your homeland is a flourishing land of milk and honey .. woudl you move? seriously?? NO -- people move due to severe economical reason.. and this is HUMAN FACTOR and this has not changed... I am very happy for you taht your husband is a Kali-loving.. temple- going open-minded Amercian who accepted Hinduism and you are very fortuinate to be united with such an open-minded man.. but How many amercians are like him? The last time teh chinese association hung a picture of Guan Ti, our God of War, Integrity and Honor in our office .. we were "asked" to remove it because it was "offensive" to people.. Once again.. that previous statement was never meant to be a personal attack to you, dear Sister Usha... or your husband .. i am sorry that you took it that way ..
