Guest guest
Namaste Kalipadma, My background is Wiccan, and it's been part of my spiritual practice for many years. I've been trying to balance that background with the addition of shamanic practice and shakta philosophy for some time. It's an interesting mix. peace and blessings, Seadna > I have heard Wicca described as "Western tantra," and certainly Gerald > Gardner was familiar with Hindu magickal techniques. Guest guest
hi i am an eclectic pagan and also a shakta. i have tried to mix the 2, but not much success, mainly i had language(/culture) problem, can't call upon hindu dieties in english(nothing wrong in that for the people who do it but i feel weird doing it) and diana in indian languages. so i practise both separately but i think they complement each other BB hyacinth PS i recently posted about chandi kavach and wiccan shielding rituals hail mother

There is nothing wierd about it. DEVI's language is a universal language. Even when you cant think of anyword and just a MAA, she too will respond. Worshipping with DEVI is very personal. It is between you and HER and there is no third party. What ever language you converse I believe SHE will understand. What is important is in your heart. The Sadhana we perform for HER should be honest, sincere and full of humility. "PS i recently posted about chandi kavach and wiccan shielding rituals" Yes! I read about it. Just give sometime, I am sure somebody will comes along and try to give you the answer. Sometimes I believe answers to our question will come later on and not immediately. Its worth the wait.
