Guest guest
Greetings, Worthy points for discussion. let us continue to strength the spirit. Pray mother to lead us to the Truth. Sadhana is a mechanism for human transformation. Transformation of physical, vital and mental. Transformation from finite to infinite. Sadhana extends beyond mantra japa, puja etc. It has to be incorporated in all walks of our life. Unless we transform our self to the perfection one cannot realize the Truth. Sadhana starts all by itself. Acquiring knowledge, discussion of the same, implementation of the acquired subject, As said above doing japa, homa etc are not only means of sadhana. A complete awareness of ourselves and working everything for delight of God is sadhana. Pure heart, Love tolerance and perseverance are the qualities for sadhana. There cannot be an instance where absence of Guru is felt. Guru need not be always in a physical form. Any guidance that we get which lead us to the goal is our guru. It can be books, through discussions or our inner voice. Looking forward for further evaluation on the above from other seekers. So lets do it. will some one start asking questions on what is sadhana and let some knowledgable member start answering. What is sadhana? How does one start it? what are the requirements? what are the practical methods? What can be done in the basence of a Guru? What dom u think? Kochu The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo. Guest guest
I wish to know what is a successful sadhana. On many sites or in the description of the mantras one sees do it for 125000 or any number for x days you will surely be successful. And if any body of this group who went on to be succesful can tell me what is the the difference one feels one he reaches the siddhi in sadhana. Ans whether it means that one need not recite those mantras again meanin those qualities will be present in that individual for life. Guest guest
Do you expect siddhis all the time when you do your Sadhana? Aren't Sadhana to be part and parcel of our life? Even though we having nothing to ask, but just to be with DEVI during that short period of time isn't it good enough? I was in the chat room once and somebody told me " Oh! If the Goddess didn't not grant my wishes, that means I have not done or give enough to HER" I am rather surprise with the statement. Is there enough when DEVI is concern? And what is considered enough? I believe it should go beyond the numbers and the time frame, but the sincerity of your Sadhana performed. The result of the Sadhana? I really don't know what do you mean as successful and unsuccessful in Sadhana. It is still each and everyone perception of what is successful. Sometimes you may not get what you wish for, but something else comes in and will give you other things, which benefit you too, can you considered it successful? I believe one becomes successful in Sadhana when one began to look forward for the time for Sadhana. I believe most of us are working people with our own social and family obligations. Sadhana for some can be like a luxury. If you can find a peace of mind during that short period of time, to me that is already a successful Sadhana. But again does Sadhana have to be confining to the Pooja room all the time? The real Sadhana I believe is out there: our interaction with people, performing our social obligation to the society, our obligations to our family etc if we could perform all these with all sincerity without asking for anything in return, that is Successful Sadhana itself. Sorry for the rampling !!!!!!
