Guest guest
Short answer: it's how our brains work! BTW: Did you know Da Vinci wrote his journals backwards? He printed each word/line in reverse, mirror writing, so if the journal was turned toward a mirror, it would read from right to left (because his culture's normal writing was from left to right). If you write with your nondominant hand, you will begin to feel the relationship of your eyes shifting so that the nondominant eye takes over. I've tried this and other exercises in a book about handedness and brain hemisphere research. It's fun, and fascinating, like being alive!
