1. Lion throne, Nityotsava

Can someone please offer some helpful explanations about this:

http://www.shivashakti.com/island.htm ?

What is meant here with "lion throne"?

As far as I know Lalita Devi sitts on a throne made of the five forms of Shiva.

Is there any translation available of the Nityotsava?

2. Nityas

"The Nityas or Eternities of Lalita represent the fifteen lunar days or tithis

of the waxing Moon."

Which group of goddesses do represent the fifteen lunar days of the waning Moon?

3. Goddess of no-Moon

Lalita represents the full-Moon.

Which goddess represents the no-Moon night?

Nityotsava IMHO means "daily festival". For a shakta every day is a festivel to

celebrate the Universe and its creatrix - in whatever form one concieved

Him/Her/It - and oneself.

Please, could anyone tell me the meaning of Nityotsava?

Sankara:

Well said and written!

We have another meaning festival is a form of exhibiting your joy

(Anand) and there is no good or bad time, day or week or other wise for a

Gnani who is a kula shreshta. All days and time are of his thithi nitya

devis and all the nitya devis are a part of Lalitha and her worship. Each

day is governed by a nityadevi who is herself Lalitha in fifteen forms

and the sixteenth being herself.

The worship is itself an Utsav, an anand, and worshiping her in the ways

pronounced by her everyday is nityotsava.By doing this the mumukshu or the

sadhaka achieves abhedhabhav and the truth of Atdwaiytha bhavna.Nothing is

acheived with out the Guru's blessings and initiation, and what ever is read is

not understood. Nityotsava is that after reaching ones Guru's feet the

perpetual or constant happiness one achieves there after until his renunciation.

Guru padara vindha renu.
