In this conservative climate the metaphysical and "left of center" interests are kept on the 'low down' and are not very obvious without knowing someone that knows or just a serendipitous find. I met Kali five years ago during chemotherapy. What a fierce and wonderful presence! I have so much admiration and respect for her.
