Guest guest
Hello, Thank you for the warm welcome. In many of the beliefs of the Native Americans, the most powerful Deities were Women. I am still very much amature at knowing names and thier dominions. I m searching daily for my path to enlightenment. I have read a lot of different texts and quotes from many different religions. Always searching for the one that speaks to me, then He/She will be my God/Goddess. Through out Christianity, women have been demonized, and weak. This can't be a correct teaching. How can something that gives life, nurtures, loves unselfishly, be the reason women suffer and travail in childbirth, and must follow behind a the husband. Women are nessecary for life to exist on this plane. And so are men. One can't exsist without the other. Teresa Dear Teresa, thank you for adding the blessing of your presence to the collective blessing of this group. Since you have begun to explore shamanism, I would be interested in knowing your (and everyone else's) thoughts on connecting shamanism and Goddess. Yoga is an Indian development of shamanism, and for me hatha yoga, the wisdom of the body, is meant to be a Tantric devotion to Shakti Devi. I'm glad Devi Bhakta invited you in. Live the light, light the love, smell the coffee, eat more flowers, don't forget the fairies, mind the moon, and remember what goes out comes back in a big way!
