Guest guest
I recieved an invitation from devi_bhakta, to join this group and for that I am honoured and blessed. I began my spiritual journey about 23 years ago, following a shaman like path. I am wary of stating 'shaman' because in the past there have been so many nitpickers as to the nature of shamanism. I was initiated into my rather eclectic path by a 'teacher' when I was in my late teens although I had been following this path from my late teens. I am 40 years old in this incarnation. I follow a path which includes many elements from many traditions; - Burmese, Celtic, Native American etc. I am a healer and a teacher, I pass on what I know. Recently I was given Reiki 1-3 (in about an hour and a half) which I am still in the process of integrating into my way. I live in a rural village in Suffolk, in England. I work part time in a shop, although I am feeling the energies rising and know that I must move on to follow my spiritual path as I am guided and withdraw unnecessary expenditure of my energies into unnecessary activities. Each morning I do an energy workout which has evolved over the years to the Sun. At full moon I also do a ritual of my own devising. Each day I balance my chakras and do an energy meditation to tune into the Divine. Earlier this year I had spinal surgery which has given me an extra 1.5 inches in height and the back I had as a child. Each week I give free healing sessions at the local cafe after I was called upon to do so. I live each day to the full and work as I am guided. I am a qualified Aromatherapist and work in healing - on the principle of whatever it takes, which can mean spiritual attunements and guidance to work with whatever is to hand. Recently I have started to work with Bells to cleanse the aura and I am totally guided in this! I am known as Elisande or Ellie for short. Elisande And it was the Goddess dropping petals of a pink rose into the dazzling waters of the ocean, that brought magic to the moonlit night and made the night stars glow with the magic of love and dreams that do come true. Guest guest
Dear Elisande, warm welcome! Our group will be blessed by the healing knowledge you bring. This is one of the aspects of the Goddess lore that interests and heartens me the most... natural healing that is spiritually linked to the Goddess, the lore of wise women. We have come together in this group because we have known firsthand the Divine Mother's healing touch in our souls, and hope the world can be healed by Her love too. My deep pranamah to all wise women healers who are sharing Her love and care. , Elisandeurs@a... wrote: > I recieved an invitation from devi_bhakta, to join this group and for that I > am honoured and blessed. > > I began my spiritual journey about 23 years ago, following a shaman like > path. Guest guest
Ellie, I, too come from an ecclectic pagan background. I have learned so much from this list, I hope that you will as well. Reiki 1,2 &3 in one day! WOW! How did you recover from that?!? I did Reiki 1 and then Reiki 2 a year and a half later. I've got at least another six months before I'm even thinking about Reiki 3. I had such vivid dreams after the 2nd initiation that it took me a couple of weeks to actually feel like I was awake and not still dreaming. Reiki changed my life, my perception as well as my physical body, even how others see me. And to think I was so skeptical about it at first! Welcome! Love and light, Allison ~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~ And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. How did you recover from that?!? Hi Allison I am still recovering and integrating. I worked with my Soul Sister and we were guided to do just that. For me the Reiki 1 was the big one, while the other two are seeping through gradually. But the nature of my healing is that it is an added fillip to my channelling of the power. Love, Light and healing tickles Ellie
