Meaning:

"One does not hold the pot (loosely) to fall off",

that adage does not seem to apply to people

like me. - This I have found out in my own

experience. You rejoice the service of new

comers, but You don't favor even a bit the

service of mine, who has long carried devotion to

You, oh Our Lord Who dances in the holy thillai !

Notes:

1. People don't hold their pot carelessly that it

falls and breaks. Oh Lord why do You hold me

so loosely to become a useless one ?

2. cAyppaRRAr - cAyap paRRAr; vambu - fresh/new;

iRaiyum - even a bit; n^ambal - favoring.
