It is said in the sastras that those who worship Lord Muruga in this Janma will take another Janma and will get Initiated to the 15 letter mantra of Lalitha Maha Tripurasundari, and will attain moksha. Me ebing a great devotee of Lord Muruga(mine is the 6th generation in our family doing the 3 kala pujas to Lord Muruga at home)can help you to get a book in tamil which is known as "KAUMARAM". Ther are 6 ways of worshipping which was ordained and corrected by sage Adi Sankara. They are GANAPATHYAM, KAUMAARAM, SAURAM, VAISHNAVAM, SHAIVAM AND SAAKHTHAM. In each one you will find the chief deity like in Ganapathyam Lord Ganapathy, in Kaumaaram Lord Muruga, in Sauram Lord Surya, in Vaishnavam Lord Vishnu, in Shaivam Lord Shiva, and Saakhtam Godess Devi.I fyou can tell me from which district you are from I can tell you where you can get this book.
