Dear Shaktas,

Given that Hari(Vishnu) occupies the left half of the body of Hara

(Shiva)- just like Shakti, and that Vishnu's Avatar Krishna is

sometimes said to be a manifestation of the Goddess(Lalita/Kali), is

it true that Bhagavan Vishnu is a form of Bhagavati Devi?

Yours,

Robert.

hmmm.. i don't think this is written in any of the scripture... if

there is a belief that it is so .. it could be on the tribal or

village level ....

....in one Purana - forgot the name - Vishnu tells that Devi has 4

forms, of which Vishnu himself is the last. As Devi, Vishnu is

connected with left current, iDA-nADI...

Krishna is usually identified with Kali [in Mundamala, Todala,

Tarabhaktirahasyadipika and Kokilarnava tantras and in Tara-rahasya],

Mahabhagavata-purana even states that Krishna is Kali and Radha is

Siva.
