This is the most auspicious mantra to the Divine Father of the

universe- probably the best mantra for all round welfare- it bestows

health, wealth and prosperity and ultimately moksha. There are three

versions of the mantra that are commonly available

1)the plain mrityumjaya mantra(check out www.sivanandadlshq.org)

2)with samput of some beejas, there is another more powerful version

of the mantra called the Mrita-Sanjeevani vidya(highly beneficial for

impeding death, accidents etc)

3)another smaller version in the parasurama Kalpa sutra(check with

the moderator kochu on this).

There exists higher versions of this mantra but these are dangerous

for a beginning sadhaka. The best times to chant these are during

Mondays(specially evenings), Pradosham days and every day during the

pradosham time(check an almanac for the exact time, usually around

sunset).

Way of chanting- with a rudraksha rosary at least 108 times, putting

bhasma on the body is very beneficial; other add on's are a sphatika

siva linga, a narmada linga, parad linga, mrityumjaya yantra(not

required but nice to have) etc.
