Guest guest
Pranam. This reminds me . In 1980 or 81, there was a chinese guy in Singapore who did the same thing. He sacrificed three children before he was caught. I went missing during this period. I was about 2 or 3 yrs old. My mom still has nightmares. With Love Shankaree Let my every word be a prayer to Thee, Every movement of my hands a ritual gesture to Thee, Every step I take a circumambulation of Thy image, Every morsel I eat a rite of sacrifice to Thee, Every time I lay down a prostration at Thy feet; Every act of personal pleasure and all else that I do, Let it all be a form of worshiping Thee." >From Verse 27 of Shri Aadi Shankara's Saundaryalahari BT Broadband - Save £80 when you order online today. Apparently he thinks by sacrificing those innocent children and offering them to kali will bring him magical powers. The first two child he managed to escape detection ( mind you this is in the public housing estate ) but apparently the third child, the blood of the third child is the one which leads the police to his home. Guest guest
Namast Shankaree, I love this piece that you use as a sign off: > Let my every word be a prayer to Thee, > Every movement of my hands a ritual gesture to Thee, > Every step I take a circumambulation of Thy image, > Every morsel I eat a rite of sacrifice to Thee, > Every time I lay down a prostration at Thy feet; > Every act of personal pleasure and all else that I do, > Let it all be a form of worshiping Thee." > > From Verse 27 of Shri Aadi Shankara's Saundaryalahari I don't know where I would find the entire text, but this is so comforting and so devote. I have recently been laid off from my job, and while I do believe that this is one of Devi's blessings, I have been increasing my mediation and prayer in hopes that I might make all the right decisions and the right steps. I hope that I might successfully find Her path for me and not overlook Her intentions and opportunities. I've gone back to the Hindu scriptures and my Pagan prayers etc. It's a tough time and I find my comfort in Her. Thank you for sharing this verse.
