So I am unable to move away from You. When You are hungry, I am not able to stand here also !", thus weeping to exhaustion, finally made up the mind to go. Took the long bow, saluted with the floral hand and went. Notes: 1. One goes to God seeking protection and upliftment. Isn't It the Supreme One Who could provide us the shelter ! How big is the list one goes with, to God to pray for ! Isn't It the God Who is the Almighty ? Even the great saints look for Liberation, the ultimate gift from God. Look at this illiterate ! (May God forgive). He is worried whether there would be any danger to Lord kALaththiyappar by any wild animals ! On top of it he is distressed that God would be hungry and he needs to hunt for offering food to God ! This poor being (God forgive again) is weeping neither able to stand guarding nor go for hunt ! Will the God starve ever to death ? Will the God ever face threat from anybody else ? Will anybody well-wise do such thing ? The great Goddess Who is inseparably mingled in the form of God, wanted to perform worship of Lord shiva in the Agamic way. Who other than Her can be a better wise ? When She was performing the worship at kAnchi, God made the kamba river flood. The Goddess performing worship of sand lingam in its bank was worried. Doesn't She, Who is an inseparable part of Him, know that nothing can even hurt God ? But all She did was anxiously hugged the form of God to protect It from the flood ! There appeared the God, blissfully accepting Her care and devotion ! So stands our great kaNNappar - kalai malin^tha cIr n^ambi kaNNappar (one who enriched with all knowledge) - undisturbably to the right of our God, unimaginable glory got in just seven days ! The wise saints who followed wonder whether they can have even a bit of kaNNappar's love !! 2. thamar - somebody who is ones own person; cilai - bow. ===== --\ ----------- Name of hara encompass !
