Fundamentalism

As fundamentalism increases its grip upon religion it is important for those

who are not fundamentalist to forge new links between the faiths of

humanity. There is a definite link between Sahajayana Buddhism and Hindu

Shaktism, and between both Buddhism and Hinduism in general with Islam

through Indonesian Kebatinan, and also a linkage with Liberal Christianity.

The differences between religions should not lead to suspicion, distrust,

and even hatred. It is time to build new bridges and mend old ones.
