But there's no denying that the effects of the "rule and practice" that says marriage should only be between a man and a woman harms people. The so-called "gay community" -- comprised of people who unite with others outside of the "rule and practice" regarding marriage – deals with hate crimes against and beating deaths of its members, as well as suicide, either by deliberately contracting AIDS, or taking one's life by other means, including taking prescription drugs due to being diagnosed as mentally ill and "living" a deadened existence. That's a huge weight of prejudice going against people when it comes to the most beautiful feelings Devi has gifted to us all." I have been reading this treat just like to add my thoughts. Maybe I am being insensitive about this but this is what I believe, when you try to move from the norm, you are definitely face with objections. Hate crimes are everywhere [ as long as people are capable to express love and hate ], it happens all the time and not just against the gay community. In certain religion/country, when you are born in that religion, you remain until you die. You try to convert to another, a death sentence to you. Well yes! you can say : it shouldn't and lament as to why are people so intolerant to others. That is how things are. If you want to change this situation, then you must be brave enough to lead it and do not expect others to do it for you. As a sayings goes : if you want to swim against the tide, you must be strong, be very strong, otherwise you too will get drifted together with the current.
