I wonder if Hindu Shaktism could also be accomodated with Kebatinan?

When Java became Islamic the previous religions, namely Animism,

Buddhism, and Hinduism did not disappear, on the contrary they

survived in Kebatinan. This syncretic approach could inspire a

similar combination of New Age, Buddhism, and the Judeo-Christian

tradition in the West.

Thank you for highlighting Kebatinan. One day while surfing the

group, I came across an indonesian group talking about their

spiritual practice called Kebatinan. I really wanted to go back to

the group to learn more about it but somehow I got distracted.

It is indeed an interesting group and if anybody interested to know

about it, this is the english version.

In the group, I was really fascinated with a ritual called The Kris

ritual [ forgot the indonesian version ]
