Guest guest
I wonder if Hindu Shaktism could also be accomodated with Kebatinan? Devji (Original Message) 12/21/2003 10:35 PM When Java became Islamic the previous religions, namely Animism, Buddhism, and Hinduism did not disappear, on the contrary they survived in Kebatinan. This syncretic approach could inspire a similar combination of New Age, Buddhism, and the Judeo-Christian tradition in the West. Guest guest
'I wonder if Hindu Shaktism could also be accomodated with Kebatinan?' Thank you for highlighting Kebatinan. One day while surfing the group, I came across an indonesian group talking about their spiritual practice called Kebatinan. I really wanted to go back to the group to learn more about it but somehow I got distracted. It is indeed an interesting group and if anybody interested to know about it, this is the english version. http://www.cimande.net/Kebatinan.html In the group, I was really fascinated with a ritual called The Kris ritual [ forgot the indonesian version ]
