We are being told several times. Thank you for reminding us again. "Lalita Tripura I'm not familiar with. Any suggestions where I can look up more info on this?" Maybe this is the place for you to start to get a general information about lalita tripusundari. This is from our homepage. http://shaktisadhana.50megs.com/Resource/essay/Mahavidyas.html And when you are ready for the advance version you can refer to http://www.clas.ufl.edu/users/gthursby/tantra/tripura.htm http://www.shivashakti.com/goddess.htm Or if you want more information, go to search and type in Lalita Tripusundari. Guest guest
Hi again, Yvonne: I'd agree in general with Nora's recommended sources; however, I'd add this one to the top of your reading list: http://www.shaktisadhana.org/shaktatantra.html Lalita Tripurasundari is generally said to be the third of the Mahavidyas in the Kali tradition; Lalita is Supreme, of course, in Her own. The supreme worship of Lalita is Srividya, an initiatory, highly sophisticated form of Tantric Shaktism. For a hint of what it involves click on Files and select Saundaryalahari.doc; "Soundarya Lahari" (The Flood of Beauty) is an incredibly beautiful classical Sanskrit composition which contains many essential truths of Srividya with its 100 stanzas. You might want to print it out, and review it slowly. By the time you've finished, you will know quite a lot about Lalita's path.
