Noone here has even hit upon the real idea as TM is a valid technique, and its mantras are not exactly bija mantras. While it is expensive you will not find as eclectic a group of meditators anywhere else since TMers were not made to believe anything before beginning practice. For this reason you will have old TMers in every other religion and doing every other spiritual practice as well as TM. Billy WTF? Why are you still running circles at your tail about mantras Man? Everything there was to cover we covered right at the start. I thought you were making a reformation of TM now why are you trying to debunk it? TM is a very effective samadhi meditation. Kirk, Stop being so uptight,meditate a little,I've just been on a long TM retreat - don't ask how I got on it! I am definately going to make a reformation of TM - somebody needs too,as the technique and mantras are perfect-the only problem is so many of the "so Called" established mantra experts are so against it,then of course MMY and TMO haven't helped with all their "off the wall Antics!" Keep the faith man. BTW - There are in reality a total of 28 original TM mantras used over the years - 17 current,and the experts can't understand why one won't transcend on a monosyllabled bija mantra - One guy tried to tell me you can't transcend in this life !
