Hello Rambha What exacly do you mean? What are we missing here? There is no confusion here unless one has problems understanding english. What I told is correct. I come from India and am aware of what kind of sadhakas are present there. If you dont believe what I said have the guts to directly say so. I actually regret mentioning about them to ppl like you. I did not think about it as I was thinking only about the answer to a doubt of some other member when I was typing that. Guest guest
I have two different recordings of that song ...I love it so and often play it very loud on my car radio when I am driving late at night I have lots of books on the other Goddesses...but of course its all about the Goddess with in for me My mother, who passed away in 2001 had a hobby of making dolls and she used them to do lectures about her form of spirituality (Seventh Day Adventist) I still have all of her dolls (over a 100) and I vowed that one day I would do the Goddesses in the chant have begun Isis and finished Kali Feel free to correct me when ever you feel the urge. I think I got one wrong "Ishtar," but only because I could not find the right one in the book and was not sure of the spelling But this is silly because I don't think my Goddess cares what I call her as long as the feeling is right Blessed be
Guest guest
The chant (as written by an American feminist) originally went: Isis... Astarte... Diana... Hecate... Demeter... Kali... Inanna! Charlie Murphy incorporated it into his song, "The Burning Times." The second and last names you're using are not merely misspelled, they are completely different names! Do you have dolls to represent the other Goddesses? Do you know who the other Goddesses ARE? -- Len/ Kalipadma On Fri, 13 Feb 2004 14:57:29 EST MaryJWoodworth writes: > ...I was endeavoring to > celebrate a > Goddess form and I did Kali because > > she is part of a chant we use > > It goes "Isis, Ishtar, Diana, Hecate, Demeter, Kali, Anna (note that > the > second > and last Goddess names are most likely misspelled) In my form of > spirituality > we are all a form of the Goddess and the > different names are just aspects of the Goddess. > > I did not mean to offend anyone > blessed be > ______________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Guest guest
The search for yourself can begin and end in something outside you although that may be a place to start. The search for the courage to find yourselfthrough a label or an identity is a hurdle to finding yourself. Yes you can use dolls...best visualization of a divine form is better...yes u can create your own gods or use/modify existing images..thats all they are ..a way to focus and be in the here an now...remember there is nowhere to go..however scary that may seem..all you have really and all of us have is the now..the time and space we are but a phenomenon off so don't worry about the past or future that are just energy impression over which you have just a little dynamic control but not macro level directional control...it is like a roller coaster..all you can do is get on and maybe bang against the sides if you use a bob sledge analogy..but where you are going and the twists and turns are fixed...the important this is to not close your eyes but to feel and see the ride for what it is.... --- Bogman <flink wrote: > kalipadma > > The chant (as written by an American feminist) > originally went: Isis...
