Guest guest
[AA] Did you read about the mountain climbing message? I've been thinking about it, and this question bugs me: Does our spiritual journey end with moksha? [AB] I don't think so. [AA] Is the end is our prime goal or the process itself. I think the most important thing is the process of transformation, it is during that process its either you die or you continue. [AB] The Process is important. Read this quote "We embody the local eyes and ears and thoughts of the Universe. We are a way for the Cosmos to know itself." You see ... we are all cells in Devi's body and each one that awakens makes Her more alive, not only does She touch us with Her grace, we send it back to Her, it is a two-way flow You make Her more conscious; give Her a new set of eyes and ears, and a new set of hands. You manifest Her ... which is moksha for you ... but for Her it is more -- She too is happy to have You with Her So Moksha is not the end of your path; in Sri vidya it is only the beginning, like everything in Sri Vidya it is practical and logical. Sadhana is like, say, Medical School. If you want to be a doctor, you can't just be a doctor -- you must learn the intricacies of the trade. If You want to be Devi there is even more to know ...You must know Everything or be able to let Every thing flow through you in a useful way to Her. So this process is important ... but it is just the training for what is to come not only must we realize our Self, but we must be able to act on that realization in a way that usefully furthers Her work or else what good are we? So I think the process is important, but it is not the end in itself. Just like medical school is not the end, or law school is not the end it is just a process of gathering the knowledge and experience we need to do the work ahead then, once we "graduate" that is perhaps moksha but still, you get better and better and if you are very good, and love your work, hopefully you will take it further than it's ever been taken before. The thing is not just to "realize" it but also to "act" on it. A doctor, after many years of effort and toil, may find a new cure or a new process. A lawyer may develop a new legal precedent that makes the system more just and humane and a sadhak, by becoming two of Devi's thousand arms, makes Her only more manifest by giving Her two more eyes, helps Her to see by giving Her two more ears ... etc. because it must be lonely to be the only One, it's lonely at the top. And so, by realizing Her, we also bring Her warmth and love. [AA] When you are at the top you stop feeling lonely. [AB] Not lonely, in a negative sense. Maybe it is like this: sometimes I will wake very early, make a cup of tea and sit in the window, looking over the bay and waiting for the sun to rise and suddenly, this little one will hear me, and come out and lean next to me on the couch, and maybe sleep leaning next to me and it feels so nice to have this little person join me in this quiet solitary moment. Maybe that is how Devi feels when one of Her children "break through" Maya and consciously take their place at her side [AA] loneliness is just a stage of being. You are alone but you can't identify yourself with your stage of aloneness because you are like the energy around they goes through all around you, no barriers to pass or to overcome. [AB] Right. It is not loneliness. When you contain a multitude. I think that is what causes depression and insanity. When a person truly feels separate and cannot forge a connection They might drink or take drugs to open some channel then it closes up again, because they saw they opening but did not have the knowledge to understand what to do with it Basically Sri vidya is a logical scientific, proven process by which we open these channels in a permanent way without the need for artificial stimulants or depressants or whatever. [AA] It feels so nice to have this little person join us in this quiet solitary moment and when they put their little hand on you or lead against you, a very nice feeling And when they did not talk, just sit there quietly with you. Its rare moment to have this little one suddenly so quiet, and when they do, its a divine presence [AB] yes, that's when you really feel it, when they are not being little humans, but simply being.
