Guest guest
I think that if Shakti Sadhana had lots of how to guides on various practical instructions like pranayama/asana/yama/niyama then people could use the as a guru and wham bam - a whole guru, at least up to some phases of experience, or maybe not. I have never met a guru and yet I know that I know what's what. (If I really knew that I knew for sure I would have said know that I know that I know, three times.) But I have actively meditated for at least half my life. That's what's really important is the practice. That's the sadhana. People who can live without meditation don't understand it. For others, it is like drinking water. I doubt a guru is even as vital as sadhana. I'm not saying that guru isn't important as all these teachings came from the guru. The Guru in Vajrayana is the Absolute. There's certainly enough people and information here and the people are freely giving information. This site is really a Thousand Headed Purusha. That's a TM term. And it's Maharishi who said that a thousand persons equals one guru. I think it would be great if there were a teaching folder where people could talk about their favorite topic. I would like to hear as well real stories of the yamas and niyamas by people who saw their value. In Vajrayana the karma "small as flour" is how to watch it, says Guru Rinpoche, "But my view is is vast as the sky!"

The term thousand headed purusha occurs in the vedas and the term is used always when translating puranas or Vedas into english. How do thousand ppl make a guru? Only one who knows brahman or one who is a very advanced sadhaka can become a guru. Satish.
