Since there's been so much interest and conversation in recent weeks

here about the Devipuram temple, I thought I'd pass along this

excerpt from a message I recently received from Alok at the

Devipuram/Vi1 Mailing List:

Dear Friends:

The Devipuram/Vi1 group wishes all of you a very happy Maha Siva

Ratri, which is to be celebrated on Wednesday February 18, 2004.

Here are some updates:

the story of Maha Siva Ratri along with Guruji Amritananda

Saraswati's explanation on the real significance and true meaning of

this story [i will post this in a separate message - DB].

2. We also provide some background on the pujas being performed at

Devipuram in general, as well as special pujas planned for Maha Siva

Ratri {I will post this in a separate message too -- DB].

of all of these pujas at Devipuram through our website. The money

collected from these sponsorships will help the social development

Beloved Devi Bhakta,

Thank you so much for the information on Shiva Ratri and for all the

teachings of Guruji Amritananda Saraswati. I am sure that his grace is

what guided me to join this discussion group.

Homage to Devi!

Sw. Prem Vedarthi
