Also, please be aware of the patriarchal fear of Feminine energies, ways, and

bodies. It all boils down to this: besides being in tune with the 13 moon months

in a calender year, women are blessed with 13 openings in their bodies, as

opposed to the male 12. Count them...2 eyes,2 nostrils,2 ears,1 mouth. 2

nipples, 1 navel, 1 anus, 1 urethra...so far, "even" with men. Now add our

glorious vagina, the entrance to the womb, entrance into this world. Men do not

have that. And with Freya's day already being sacred to the Divine Feminine

Goddess, well, there you have it in a nutshell,as we say. Friday the 13th. A most

Divinely sacred day. Not one in which to feed patriarchal oppression, but rather

to celebrate the power of Devi, the Great Mother,to survive the ages and shine

within our hearts and souls.

Bright Blessings

Elder's Meditation of the Day

"Many religions have been brought to this land. And the way my religion is,

they teach me, and they taught me,

and told me to resect all religions. And I still do that."  ~Horace Axtell,

NEZ PERCE

The Creator put on this Earth many different religions which represent

different roads to walk to God. All religions are right and good if the path is

the

path to God. Should we be judging which road is better or worse than the

other? When we accept each other's way we can stand in a circle, hold hands and

listen to each other as we pray. Let us be more accepting of the religions of

others.

Great Spirit - God, Grandfather, Grandmother - let me know peace.

Every blade of grass has an angel that bends over it and whispers, "Grow!

Grow!" ~The Talmud

In a state of perpetual anesthesia:

To mistake an ordinary young man for a Greek god

Or an ordinary young woman for a goddess.

Worship of Devi has nothing to do with with this patriarchy/feminist

stuff. It is about things divine and not exclusively divine feminine.

Friday 13 does not coincide with any Shakta festival.
