Guest guest
I am wanting to research more about the Mahavidyas and their Vedic Counterparts as mentioned in the essay on Matangi on your website. I have found many pieces of infomation on the Mahavidyas.. but none of them compare the Vedic counterpart as you have done with Matangi and Saraswati... could you point me to some places that I may be able to find that information. Thanks so much for your website! Mary
Guest guest
Not exactly vedic counterparts but the following post lists the vedic verses which are linked to Dasha Maha Vidyas. If the verses are in praise of certain devatas, *maybe* one can think of a connection. Ganapati Muni's Dasha Maha Vidya Sutravali may have similar references. A telugu version of his biography also has some of these references spread over the book. Such comparison with vaidika devatas may not completely help in understanding the nature of Dasha Maha Vidyas though. /message/6516 Rgds , "N.
