Aditi is the sky

Aditi is the air

Aditi is all gods ...

Aditi is the Mother, the Father, and Child

Aditi is whatever shall be born.

Rig Veda, I.89.10

In the first age of the gods, existence was born from non-existence.

The quarters of the sky were born from Her who crouched with legs spread.

The earth was born from Her who crouched with legs spread,

And from the earth the quarters of the sky were born.

Rig Veda, 10.72.3-4

Namaste,

When I do my morning devotions/meditation, I first light my “Aditi” candle. The

black candle symbolizes the absolute, infinite, formless Deity. From the top of

my 3” Aditi candle sets a smaller white votive candle. It represents the

“manifest” universe, that which is created, the progeny of Aditi. US!!! And all

around us. From Her all else is born. “She” is the ALL. From the moment I first

“found” Her, (about 9 years ago) my path was lit before me.

As I am not Hindu, it may seem strange to some that I have such a Hindu

pantheon. But I am a Bhakti Pagan and proud member of my family, Yarrow Coven.

Blessed Be

Soma
