Buddhi is necessary first of all. If there's no buddhi, there's

nothing at all. One who is lacking buddhi is mahapashu, animal.

By buddhi sattarka (right logic, reason) is meant. According to Shri

Abhinavagupta bauddha-jnana (and not paurusha-jnana) leads to

jivanmukti.

What concerns siddhi, it depend on what we mean by this word. In many

vesres of holy Agamas "siddhi" means "bhakti and mukti" and not some

occult capacities. However in other it may mean simply "success" (in

particular sadhana) or occult powers. So the necessity of siddhi

depends on the meaning we attach to this term.

Agree ;-). Meru-tantra says that "only that one whose bhakti is strong

will succeed in vama-marga". And Kularnava states: "Only bhakti

saves".

I may add, that true bhakti is same as jnana. The word "prajnana" in

the famous mahavakya "Prajnanam Brahma" is having same meaning as in

biblical verse about the union of Adam and Eve.

This is too vast theme to explain in brief. If U can tell what U want

to know in particular, it will help me to answer U properly.

To say in general, sadhana of Kali starts as dakshinachara, proceeds

as vamachara and completes as kaulachara. What level are U interested

in? I cannot give any practical guidance in kaulachara, that is above

my level. However theoretical knowledge U may get if U need.

About scriptures - there are hundreds! U have to ask exactly,

otherwise i don't know what to tell U. U need a list? Or places where

to get 'em?

I suggest U to tell me what U want - then i can provide U with

necessary info. If i don't know myself, at least i may tell where to

search for it.
