The Mother, The Daughter and The Sweets

Daughter : MA can I sit here and watch you.

 

Mother : Yes daughter please do.

 

And the daughter sits quietly watching her mother works, ever so

happy to see her mother always in her cheerful self.

 

Daughter : Ma, I like to sing for you a song. I just learn this song

today. Would you like to hear?

 

Mother : Oh! yes please, I would love to hear.

 

And the daughter sings her heart out.

 

Mother : That is so sweet and so beautiful. Now! Hang on what do I

have here with me. She reach inside her pocket. Ah! Sweets. And gave

it to the daughter

 

Daughter: What is this Ma. Sweets? You know I don't go for

sweets.

You give it to me because I sing for you?

 

Mother : You have made me so happy, just being here with me and sing

for me a song. I want to give you something in return.

 

Daughter : What am I to do with this sweets. I don't take them,

You

know that. You know that I'm not here for the sweets or any

rewards

from you. Even if you don't give me anything, I will still come

here

and sit by you, and sing for you a song. No! many songs.

 

Mother : I know, Keep it in your pocket and give it to somebody who

will need it.

 

Daughter : But Ma Who will need these sweets. How do I know whom to

give to?

 

Mother : You will know.

Vivekananda Maharaj before he passed away.........................

 

The "child of God" did not have a purpose for them as he was sitting on his

Mother's lap always !!!!
