Guest guest
93 Greetings! It is not said that Vedas lead to sin. It is said that "those things which lead to sin according to Vedas, in fact lead directly to Liberation - according to our doctrine of Left". I don't have sanskrit original of this verse, so i quote from memory. It is somewhere in 32 Ahnika if i remember correctly. Text of TA is available at: http://www.sub.uni- goettingen.de/ebene_1/fiindolo/gretil/1_sanskr/6_sastra/3_phil/saiva/t antralr.txt however i'm not able to open it from the place i stay now (i tried, there's some font problem). Sorry, i can provide exact reference later only. What is translated as sin usualy is "pApa" or more rarely "pAtaka". Similar thing is in Niruttara-tantra: "From Vedas come karma, from karma - bondage. [Therefore] reject karmas of Vedas and pray in enjoyment of sexual union [with shakti]" (if i remember correctly, vedena jAyate karma karmmaNA bandhanaM bhavet/ vaidika-karma saMtyajya surateShu sadA japet// - sorry if i spell the verse not exactly, but meaning is this). Love is the law, love under will.
