When I start to write this message to the board, I felt two things,

will this message of mine will create a havoc in the group especially

with the Non-saktas people and will I will be labelled as an anti-

Vaishnava . But I have to write, that's the final decision of mine as

I need to get some mean of justification for the religion and faith

that I am following and practising.

Frankly speak, my love towards the religion started when I start to

absorb the Bhagavad-Gita into me. It shaped me and makes me to stand

in my feet before many people and the credit should go to a

Vaishnava who introduced me to Bhagavad-Gita. Starting from there, I

start to learn many Vaishnava written works and feel comfortable with

their thoughts and wisdom. Lately, someone ( Vaishnava) introduced

to me to the concept of Demi-God and God and the correlation between

them. I find very hard to accept the facts which has been produced

before me and to add the oil to the fuel, the validly of these cannot

be verify. I tried very hard to get answers and till now no answers

were able feed my hungry mind. I am depressed and hurt by their

continuous remarks as it doesn't creates a unity Indian Hindu people

or Hindu society or people who follows the religion of east. Let me

start the whole thing as it is…

The definition of Demi-God and God has widely been described by

Vaishavas and more precisely the ISKCON. I feel that I no need to

explain about the meaning because, I am against the definition

itself. When the concept of Demi-God comes in, that means you are

accepting two system of God. God as supreme personality and demigod

who is a half of supreme personality. I referred this to the Chief of

the ISKCON in Malaysia and he somehow agreed to me to that sense,

where first time readers or first time people who cross these words

will marked them as two different things. He further noted that

further studies will reveal the truth behind these terms. He gave me

his lengthy talked about the concept of demigod and god, " In other

words, they ( the demigod ) are not God but highly empowered beings

who are subservient to God. (Consequently), worship of the demigod is

inappropriate; worship is reserved for the Supreme alone and that is

Krshna.". We have recognized and included all other Hindu Gods and

Goddess as demigods and lower to the Krshna even though there are

many literatures which talk about the interrelation of them."

Infact his last sentence was correct, they modified many of the

scriptures to suit them. On them is, the "Brahma Samhita" and the

Vaishnava disagree with them because the Brahma Samhita has refuted

Panchopasana ( Hinduism's traditional worship of Five Gods; Vishnu,

Surya, Ganesh, Durga and Shiva). They said of Vishnu as found in

Panchopasana does not please Vishnu; it is heterodox and highly

improper … The worship of Vishnu as one the five deities makes His

highest dignity, which is without any equal , similar to that of the

other deities and that's is a greater spiritual offence.

But the whole things were reversed when Vaishnava rooted themselves

in the western whole. They brought a concept of "Your God and My God

is the same". In the west they told "Christ (Krista) is another name

of Krshna and there in no different between them" where else in their

homeland they published books saying " Sakti, Shiva and other Gods

and Goddess in the Indian as deities who are lower to Krshna and

they have of the power of the Krshna." This is an injustice ! In

shows that to gain the popularity in the western, they will twist

whatever information that they have. I am sure ordinary people like

me will me thinking like that .

.. The concept Demi God creates uneasy for Non –Vaishnava. I never

crossed any scriptures in other Hindu paths that degraded any other

Gods. Scriptures said, everything is one and fools are the one who

don't understand about it and doing worthless research on it. But

commentaries correct it by saying something else. This is nothing but

immature behaviour.

..Sakti may born out of Maya but She is the supreme for her own

people. And she surpasses everything to her people. She formed her

own civilization and stands equals and more to everything. To her

people, she is the origin of the origins. She formed a system where

people can live in it. . To say that she has lower power and

worshiping her is useless is something injustice to Sakti herself and

the people. Saktism wont go out and publish books which says other

Gods are lower than me and worshipping them are unnecessary because

all benedictions ultimately come from Her. Do any Sakta groups in the

world treating like that ?

The ISKON never mentioned this when they try to promote their

organization in USA or other western countries. They said, they came

they to make a Christian to be better Christian and should tell to

the world that they also came to the earth to make Sakta a better

Sakta , a Shaiva to be a better Shaiva and so on. The feelings of God

is the same, I felt that. I am not sure about others but I felt the

same. But now, people are saying, if you worship others that what I

am worshipping , that you are doing nothing but sins. Further more,

you will be in the cycle of born and death and you won't get mocha

and so on.

Until now, I am not happy with all these things even though I

came from a Vaishnava tradition. I felt that the original scriptures

have been modified by seers and leaders to suit to them. Commentaries

have been added to make it worst. I need a justice to this because as

far as I am concern, all paths are equal to each other because all of

the deals with one thing " to feel the God". You may learn many

scriptures, you may do many rituals and you may come across many

commentaries but it all refers to one thing, a person is a Supreme.

Who knows what is right and wrong.? Those days, married women buried

live together with their husband and that seems to be all right for

those people who lived that years but can we digest it today ?

*I would like to stand clearly that I am not an Anti Vaishnava or

anti any organization which includes ISCKON. I not going to involve

myself if any further exchange of words if replies dragged
