Guest guest
93 As Abhinavagupta states in his Tantraloka, there are three sourses of the true knowledge: Sattarka (right logic), Sadagama (right scriptures) and Sadguru (right guru). If i remember correctly, he tells that jnana born out of Shastra is higher than jnana got from guru, while jnana that manifested itself (thru sattarka) exceeds them both. Any information, prescription or practice is to be verified by these three. If something in shastra is contradicting words of gurus (siddhanta) or right logic, it must be wrong. Same with other. There is no law beyond do what thou wilt. A. , SRIRAMA DONGRE <sriramadongre> wrote: > Sir, I agree with your view. > Guru is supreme. Shastra is creation of Guru. It is right to go ahead with what Guru tells and not to be lost in the jungle of Shastras. > > sriram
