Sri Veeramuthu Maha Kaliammann [ Kungumangi ], Buntong, Ipoh.

In July 25th, 1980, this temple became the talk of the town when it

hits the headlines of the local newspapers in what the devotees

termed as miracles. It was claimed to be the 2nd such happening in

100 yrs where the "kungumum" [ a red powder usually placed as

a dot on the forehead ] started to flow from the forehead of the

deity. Thus the main deity was nicknamed as the smiling deity.
