Guest guest
In Tibetan Buddhism there is the idea of the rainbow body, which for me seems to have much in common with the divya-deha of Hindu Tantra. I found interesting information on two websites and like to share it with you. On this site is the picture of the seven sheets of human body http://murraycreek.net/ipmm/rainbowbody.htm which I find very interesting and useful for meditation. I would be interested to know if someone has seen or knows of another such Mandala/Yantra. On site http://www.resonateview.org/places/practice/rain-b.htm I found instruction for a rainbow body practice: Visualize your etheric body above your head. Visualize the central core of your body as a line of violet light. From that center, to the surface of your skin the color gradually changes through the spectrum until you reach red at the skin level. The order of the color shift is Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red. Each limb will change color from the interior out in the same manner. When you have finished creating the rainbow body visualize that you are pulling your etheric body down over your rainbow body, infusing the rainbow body entirely with the light of the etheric body.
