The dust of my feet comes from the Noo Yawk streets. Ugh! Not

recommended.

As I said elsewhere, I am merely an ignorant Westerner, enmeshed in Maya,

and fascinated by the Devi. As a Pisces, I'm more of a <sushi> than a

<rishi>.

Well, I won't abuse fellow list members.

I've been more fond of the version by Alice Longworth (who was Teddy

Roosevelt's neice) "If you haven't got anything nice to say about

someone, come sit beside me!" But I can be nice, too.

Are you referring to the <Devi Bhakta Sahasranama Stotram>?

If she was a spinster, shouldn't she be MISS Drew? Or was she married,

but never consummated her relationship with her husband? (Hmm... by

that definition, was Sri Sarada Devi a spinster?)

Okay. Agreed.

Hi Len ...

Thanks for the reply.

*** Are you referring to the <Devi Bhakta Sahasranama Stotram>? ***

~ sigh! ~

*** If she was a spinster, shouldn't she be MISS Drew? ***

Crikey, you're right! I believe I was in her class during the Summer

of Love -- though the spirit of the times had not yet penetrated my

underripe [nods to Kanna ;-)] brain, my home, or my classroom. And

not once in all the decades since then has that question ever

occurred to me.

But for the record, she was definitely a Mrs.; a widow a guess. :-p

Still, there goes my poetic closing sentiment all to hell.

*** Okay. Agreed. ***

Tanks, luv.
