Guest guest
Well, to me the fact that the INDIAN PEOPLE chose her, instead of choosing the fanatical hindu fundamentalists, happens to speak very very well of the intellectual abilities of the Indian people as a whole. I am not an Indian Nationals, my grandfather comes from India, but I hold deeply as to things that happen in India. There are many more like me and many more still holds strongly to the events that happen in India. Many a time I choose not to take part in Political talks because I have enough of it. I grow up in a political environment. You are being very insensitive Nisrag for making such comments. This issue is about the Indians questions their fellow Indians. Why dont you let them be. And this is what I think: They choose her, because she carries the Gandhi Name. Its the Name that they choose. My assumption will be, if it were to be an Indian Lady with the Gandhi name, it will be different. The fact remain the same : India is for Indians. Just like China is for Chinese, etc and America is for White, Christian, Male. I think those people in Italy, or Britain, or America will react the same, if for example an Asian or non white were to take up the most important top post. So what happen in India and the reaction are justifiable. "fanatical hindu fundamentalists" I did not support any political party in India, being an outsider, I still follow the event very closely, but in my opinion the BJP have done their best in managing India. They must have neglect in certain areas but in term of advancement in communication and various other sectors they have done their part. I did leave them be. They chose the Congress party all by themselves. Good for them.
