My dearest friends and Siblings,

I wish to suggest a learning exercise. Please just

do as I suggest, and I shall explain as you do this.

I want you to find a room with a full-length

mirror, a mirror in which you can see your head and

your toes at the same time.

Next, take off all your clothes and look at

yourself, head to toe. Perhaps you look like the

picture that are published in the magazines that men

like to look at, perhaps not. I do not, certainly.

More likely, you are too short or too tall, too fat or

too thin, too white or too brown for the tastes of the

men who print those magainzes.

But no matter. Their opinion is irrelevant. It

is your own opinion that is important. Do you like

what you see? Perhaps yes, perhaps no. If no, then

tough cookies because you are not allowed to trade it

for another, not for as long as you live. This is the

body you have. This is your home, the place where your

soul is located. Get accustomed to it.

But you are not the only entity that inhabits

this body. The Great Mother lives there, too. Your

body is a temple just as assuredly as any huge marble

temple that you may visited. Your bones are the

pillars of the temple, your hair the roof. Your eyes

are the windows through which the Goddess sees the

world. Your ears are the mircrophones through which

She hears the world. Your arms are the tools that she

uses to embrace other temples and touch the souls of

others, and with the mirror of herself that she sees

in others.

Remeber this every day of your life. Take good

care of this temple. Get plenty of exercise and eat

good food so that the temple will remain fit and

healthy. Run or walk or bicycle every day. Put down

that cheeseburger and eat a carrot instead. This way

she can make better use of the temple for a longer

period of time.

Remember that the Divine Radiance of the Universe

lives within you. Let her see and hear and smell the

universe around her. Let her use your arms and your

mouth to bring love and compassion to all those

around you. Let her especially listen to her sisters

who reside in your sisters, allowing the Divine

Radiance in all her various temples to shine through

to each other.

Namaste!
