There are at least 4 English translations of the Devi Mahatmya, which is also called Sri Durga Saptasi and Chandi Path. Here are their Authors and ISBN numbers - you should be able to find them from on online book source. In Praise of the Goddess, by Devadatta Kali - ISBN: 089254080X - An Excellent, excellent text. Good mix of Academic research and Devotional sincerity. Recently printed here in America, not sure how hard it would be to obtain in Singapore. Includes transliteration. Chandi Path, by Swami Satyananda Saraswati - ISBN: 1877795526 - A very good text, with more a Devotional as opposed to an Academic slant. Includes transliteration. Encountering the Goddess, by Thomas Coburn - ISBN: 0791404463 - The classic Academic translation I do not yet own it, so I cannot comment much about it. Devi Mahatmya, by Swami Jagadiswaranada - ISBN ? - This version of the text was published in the 1950's by the Sri Ramakrishna Math (Vedanta Mission) in Madras. I'm sure you could obtain a copy from the Ramakrishna Mission in Singapore. It is very good, but it lacks the commentary necessary to understand to the glories of the text. If you are in Singapore, you may want to look at Indian book vendors. *Motilal Banarsidass booksellers - *http://www.mlbd.com You can also obtain electronic versions of the text here: http://sanskrit.gde.to/doc_devii/doc_devii.html - Lots of Devi Texts, in ITRANS format http://sanskrit.gde.to/all_pdf/durga700.pdf - Chandi Path in Sanskrit http://sanskrit.gde.to/all_pdf/durga700_meaning.pdf - English meaning of Sri Durga Saptasi http://sanskrit.bhaarat.com/Dale/Sanskrit.html#Saptashati - All in Sanskrit If you serious about studying Chandi Path, you probably want to check out this tool: http://www.omkarananda-ashram.org/Sanskrit/Itranslt.html - Itranslator is a true blessing for those of us who are trying to learn Sanskrit. Combined with the Itrans Sanskrit Texts found on other sites, this will make your life much much easier. I hope you found this helpful. May Sri Durga Devi smile upon you. ISBN = 81-7120-139-3 They have come up with the latest reprint. This latest one I find is much better with the English transliteration and english translation. Also by Swami Jagadiswarananda.ISBN= 81-7120-946-7 If you are in Singapore, you may want to look at Indian book vendors. *Motilal Banarsidass booksellers - *http://www.mlbd.com In Singapore, the Motilal Benarsidass vendors = Peace Center, second floor, Right beside the escalator. Name of vendor : Sultan Book Center. The Prices there are reasonable and they have fantastic collections of books on Hinduism, spiritualism etc. They also have the Motilal Benarsidass latest and past catalogue. If you're in Malaysia [ KL ] place to get such books is at Sri Vidhya bookshop in Klang and another in Brickfields : Mylon Trading [ right infront of the sentral station ]
