Hi Sriram:

 

I would add, in reply to you and swastik108, that you really don't

"get" siddhis -- you *become* them; or rather, you evolve into their

realization. They are already there, as an integral, indivisible part

of your essential Self. They are a side effect of realization, and

those advanced enough to exercise them are generally advanced enough

to let themselves be Devi's tool rather than settling old scores,

doing parlor tricks or indulgently living like royalty. In cases where

siddhas misuse powers in such manner, it is the siddhis who've "got"

them and not vice versa. And their sadhana does suffer for it.
