Guest guest
Walking down the valley green Feeling peaceful and serene Met a little shepherd boy Singing songs with wondrous joy! Will you sing a happy song, A song that I could sing along ? Gladly will I sing, He said A happy song for a happy maid! Sweet Of sound, full of love His song rose to the heaven's above Filled with joyous ecstasy I sang along merrily! Fear and gloom fled away Innate joy came to stay If I could hold on to that song I'd hear the shepherd sing along! Listen to your heart, my maid And you can hear my song He said Now I gladly sing His Song A song that you could sing along! Ashoka Mohanty Harichandan 2004 Ashoka Mohanty Harichandan People asked me why not Cowherd Boy as Krishna is my Aradhya but when the poem was written for Jesus how can I change the title. That is how we were raised in India to LOVE GOD in all Names and Forms.
