Listen, I have seen many images of the Sri Chakra and want to reproduce it in my art but... I always see people attributing different colours to it! Is any of this accurate, or is it all individual interpretation? Does it have a definite colour scheme? What about the other Yantras??? Generally, with yantras I have seen various representations for the same deity. Does each deity have a characteristic yantra? If so do the Yanta designs themselves vary according to occult purposes? Most of the variations I see are in simple paperback Tantra books I picked up in Bengal, but I can easily find about 5 different versions of the Ma Tara Yantra also with the varying mantras. The books are the bless/curse variety of occult books like you can attract money to yourself or throw your enemies into hell! It does however make me wonder about yantras.
