Hello Sir Kochu:

 

I read your long answer, and I admire your strong conviction and

feelings.

 

I also am in agreement with you that if we get a chance to help,

then we must. No doubt about it.

 

But, my beef is with just 2 points:

1. I am reading the description of this group below the Khadgmala

Devi photo, and I do not see this listed there. THAT STILL IS NOT MY

CONCERN!

My concern is that if it becomes a trend, then all kinds of requests

may start coming in and being accepted, and the original objective

of this group may go out of focus. That (as yet unexpressed) thought

is my real concern.

 

2. About the karma:

I know you disagree, but I stand by what I said: The helper's gets

the bonus of BURNING away some of his (probably unknown to him

because it was accumulated in past lifetimes etc) karma, but the

receiver ONLY gets to defer his karma, not to eliminate it, UNLESS

he gets an aha! experience out of this (aha! means the bulb of

realization lighting up in the head). Aha! can come only by Grace -

the unknown, and corporeally unknowable, magnificence! We all know

statistically how rare that is, hence I say that receiver only

defers.

 

 

With all respect and utmost understanding, I believe enough has been

said on this topic... I request that it be closed, or if anyone

wishes, discussed as a less emotional thread. .
