what an opening of understanding -- connecting,

embracing -- my new relations are revealing to me,

in Japan. this island which portrays itself as Asian --

of Chinese legacy -- yet just as much of aboriginal

and polynesian ancestry and culture!

the great tribal extended family.

and seeing today that our work -- our celebration at the

League Of The Last Days -- is simply an opening to that

global family 'economy'. the great cultural tapestry of 'today'

which includes all cultures of 'yesterday' ...

and that our vision, our respect, our love is now showering

all around us ... in collaborative educations and activities on

the internet, and in locations all around the globe.

and thus our awareness, our options have increased!

~~~
~~~~~~

no longer do we have the option this year of, merely, averting

the death of the rainforest, oceania, and humanity.

we SEE the good road, the red road, the road of life clearly

now -- and are learning to discern it's every living loving

treescape, lifescape. to VERY clearly discern the smoke

and violence on that other road, that paved road, that

carcinogenic asphalt road. to share the choice of the

rainbow road with everyone we meet and treasure.

yet now I see there is a fresher trail, a gentler more

wholesome walking -- a pathway of country sun, and bubbling

brook, and aromatic caressing airs.

there is a fork, an opportunity, in our sacred road!!

~~~
~~~~~~

now that we see that we have the option of life. individual,

family, community life .... inclusive of some plants and animals,

and air and water ... inclusive of much of our ancestral wisdom

and artistic development ...

we see that road is a quick road, a hurried choice. a salvation, yet

not a wondrous creation. an escape, yet not a celebration!

there is a longer road, a whole road, a resplendant road.

a road which we can co-create, return to, re-discover,

with but a LITTLE more love.

a commitment to not only a few years of loving respect,

of self and history. but a joyous acceptance of all of sacred

herstory, of all of divine wilderness, of all of celestial experience.

this is a road which will require some decades to traverse.

the ability to foresake the pain, the mortality, the regimen ...

the ability to relax into complete gentility,, immortality, simplest

sharing -- and the greatest artistry, economy, community every

designed or imagined.

~~~
~~~~~~

this is our new choice, our new opportunity.

merely surviving, trading armagedon for survival.

or coming into our true ecstatic fullness, individual

and collective!

where we BECOME the Earth, Moon and Sun!!

as SHE becomes us ...

The idea of "Apocalypse" or "end of the world" etc. etc. appears everywhere and

seems more like a continual process, rather than a final end. I always liked the

imagery and ideas associated with it, but don't see the finality. Looking at

nature all I see are cycles and take such thoughts moreso as an internal process

of death/rebirth within myself.

I called the group stupid, and the idea of the End-Times also stupid, because

--People all seek identity, identifying with the end of something is self

defeating

--Identifying with a fictitious virtual sangha of cyber wannabe prophets is only

perpetuating a self masturbating group of nihilistic circlejerking doomsdayers.

--Perpetuating the fraudulent, Christian promoted propaganda of an Armegeddon

merely plays into the hands of the Christians who promulgated the notion of such

and such a date and prophecy, and therefore it doesn't help to promote the other

religions or ideals of mankind.

--The notion of an endtime is merely a prop to help people get themselves

together, such as in the case of a boy putting on his shoes to go to the movies.

Saying, hey we're going to the movies later, means that he'll spend another

unspecified time at the video games, but saying, hey, get you're butt in gear,

we have to be at the movies in ten ninutes and have to rush, will get him

putting his shoes on immediately, get it? Ie., it is in a religions best

interest to promulgate an endtime notion so as to get the coffers full and to

give the priests their temporal power. But in the case of the newly formed

"League" who is profiting/propheting?

--All endtime groups have to give a certain date or they must be proven wrong.

When proven wrong they often take the end times amongst themselves such as Jim

Jones. Why to such a group or notion. If suicide is your wish then

seek real counseling, not a temporary clique of like minded support, who

eventually will do themselves in.

--etc...

What is the value of The League of the Last Days? Who are your leaders? What

are your prophecies? Who holds the coffer's keys? What is the value?

Actually none of the consideration below really entered my mind when I first

considered the last days idea. What really entered my mind initially was how

everything is always changing. There is never an end, nor a beginning, or

conversely, there are always ends and beginnings, constantly. This is Buddha's

first of the four Noble Truths. Change is dukkha, so why focus on an imaginary

big end time when end times are always everywhere around one. That was my first

thought.

But then I joined the group and talked a bit, and instead all I read was various

people having various paranoid dreams about whatever the Homeland Security

message of the day was, and then I knew. Shooting the gun of the mind in the

dark will kill someone's dreams.
