Guest guest
I see what you mean paulie and that does relate to what I said about people forgetting the roots of naming. Personally, I don't like the idea of people needing to be so attached to their parents. I understand it with Indian folks and having lived there can honestly say family bonds are for the most part a lot stronger than they are here. But, limiting yourself to the desires/whims of parents and family can really cut yourself short in life and sometimes you need to break free if they are harmful or hold you back in someway. On my end of things, I am the first in my family to travel to foreign countries, learn musical instruments, study languages and also have a love for art! Not to mention being a very spiritual person compared to the rest...... I love my parents for bringing me into this world, but do not really identify with them at all. Follow my familes footsteps? Never! However, I do give them respect and still communicate with them regularly and they have grown to respect that I make a path for myself in my own way. I wonder what that says for Karma? I can tell you that doing things my own way has proven very tough!
