Guest guest
In two days, many people from every nation in the world will gather to play games. They will run and jump and swim and throw spears and lift weights and shoot arrows and do a thousand other activities. They will compete alongside other people with whom they will share very little in common. They have different languages, different faiths, different customs, different skin colors, but the same love for the games that they are playing. It is fitting that these people should gather this year in the city named for the ancient Goddess of Wisdom. Athena has long stood over this city, watching it and protecting it from harm. For people from such diverse lands to gather together in peace under her thoughtful gaze is a wise act worthy of the Goddess herself. Outside political events have marred the games in the past. There are been boycotts and scandals and in 1972 the murder of several of the participants. Some people are predicting problems this year. Let us however pray to the Goddess of Wisdom. Let us petition her to watch over the games and the players with great vigilance. Let her extend her shield over them and protect them from harm. Let the games proceed as scheduled, and may everyone leave happy and content. And may all who visit that ancient city this year leave with more wisdom and enlightenment that they shall have brought with them. Guest guest
Sister Usha Devi, are you Divine? Do you demand worship from the males in your life? What is, "Divinely Female?" Is it a group or an organization? Chris
