Superior and Inferior food [garlic and onion]

It sounds like people are feeling attacked for their points of view

regarding scriptures again. It think the basic issue is that some

of us consider scriptures to contain prejudices and

misinformation of their times, along with spiritual messages. I

feel that this is so.

 

Patanjali's yoga sutras come from a school of thought that

considers the body as something to free oneself from, to

transcend. I disagree with that approach. I think trying to free

oneself in the way Patanjali advocates is trying to free oneself

from life in the body. I choose to be embodied. That's why I'm

here :)
