I would be glad if I could meet someone to discus the relation between spirituality and sexuality . I'm worked on this theme for years and I want to exchange ideas . Thanks . Guest guest
Everything is sex. Spirituality can be seen as a form of preservation to increase the chance of sperm growing to adulthood and propagating the dna of the sexual being. In Ayurveda the brain is considered bone marrow. If one thinks of the head as merely one more bone what does that make us? - Noor Saturday, September 25, 2004 3:55 AM Salam .. peace .. from Egypt .. Living in Egypt .. these days .. Guest guest
I would have to staunchly disagree with such a statement "everything is sex" C'mon man! Sure it is important, but definitely not everything. That's like saying everything is money. Ha! Guest guest
I say, Everything is fruit. Spirituality can be seen as an apple in a pig's mouth. But that is a matter of perception isn't it? What of direct comprehension of absolute, unchangable truth and carrying that vision and sharing with, as the goal of everything? aspen , "Detective_Mongo_Phd" <detective_mongo_phd@h...> wrote: > Everything is sex. Guest guest
But frankly, the pairing of opposites in a dualistic exchange is what life on Earth is all about. Consider the Tao. - swastik108 Sunday, September 26, 2004 2:28 PM Re: Salam .. peace .. from Egypt .. I would have to staunchly disagree with such a statement "everything is sex" C'mon man! Guest guest
I think Dualism is a simplification; a filter to perception; a mental organizing strategy; ultimately, an illusion which can be mistaken for some hard kind of reality. I think all simplifications can be as much blinders as lenses to focus understanding. Most ... "things" can be perceived as a spectrum rather than a duality. There is not "night OR day"; there is not even "alive OR dead"; do "left" and "right" have any real meaning in a spiral, except when limited by one selected static perspective? But let's not mistake chosen perspective as Reality; at best, it is a description, and it will fall short. Dualism is a poweful simplification - but not Reality. It creates pairs, and then attempts to show opposition between them, as if energy or change only comes from opposition... , "Detective_Mongo_Phd" <detective_mongo_phd@h...> wrote: > But frankly, the pairing of opposites in a dualistic exchange is what life on Earth is all about.
