Guest guest
What was going on with you that you chose to write this? Sounds to me like you were offended by her post and chose to respond with this rather holier that thou, we who are evolved beings wouldn't say anything like that post. Why else respond at all? Why not simply assume that the poster will figure it out in her own good time without any input from you? Which is not to say that I think that the information presented is either uninteresting or untrue. However, it's a bit more difficult for us ego-driven, unenlightened beings to hear from someone who appears to be operating from the same place while pretending not to be. Among the dianic witches on this list, you will find a wide divergence of opinion, I believe, especially in the area of aggression and social activism. I believe that you are suggesting that aggression is a bad thing in the Shakti tradition (I hope I'm using the terms appropriately). Are you? Perhaps you have a different definition of it than I do. For me, a degree of agression is necessary in this world to get things done. Is there a Shakti position on social activism? Is that not a form of prayer and worship here? The more important aspects of thinking, awareness, consciousness and mind are not located in the physical body at all but rather in the pranamaya kosha, our subtle energy system of chakras and nadis. Knowledge from this latter area would preclude anyone from saying such confrontational statements as, "The one most likely to do that would be me. As long as act like you think with the brain above the waist... we'll get along fine." A tendency to aggression only indicates a sense of separation. But there is no separation in the universe or beyond. Aggression is an act of ignorance of one's true, divine state based on listening to the so-called evidence of the senses assessed under the sway of the ego.
