lalita saharanama and kumkum

dear all,

yesterday I wrote a mail in which I mentioned the experience

of a person in reciting saharanama. I just managed to get the mail

from the other group. I wish to know are there any specific rules in

chanting, lalita saharanama, lalita trishati anf khadgamala. I was of

the opinion that simple reciattion is enough. for example why the

addition of kumkum in the below mail changes the devotee experience

with the sahasranama.

I feel it is better to share some background info. I always recited

lalitha sahasranama without anybody telling me after reading abt the

same in magazine. Even when my life took a turn and went upside

down..i haven't given up that..believing it is my own karma i am

facing and sincerely believed that in fact recitation alone saved me

from more suffering..I even started talking to mother saying that if

you feel it is wrong..you make me give up..i am on my own not going

to stop...at that time..when i went to my native place...incidently i

met sri rajarajeshwari or lalithambica devi upasaka...and he told me

to meet him in the next day morning during prayer timing..there he

told me to sit and after making me to watch his prayers for almost an

hour..gave me one lemon with devi maa installed in it..and told me to

do lalitha sahasranama pooja specially using kumkum (vermilon)...it

is almost now more than a year..(the lemon is still as fresh as ever

and he specially told me dont give up doing this pooja). I took it as

devi's blessings and she has accepted my recitation. With pooja

kumkum she is really doing wonderful things in the lives of the

people who are coming across me..Now offlate i am coming across this

feeling of recitation of durga saptashati and navavarna mantra and

sks..but the threatening are so much i really felt scared and started

to ask my mother in pooja and suddenly on my browsing i came across

DEVI MANDIR and the first question is initiation aka diksha...so

incidental but i took it as mother coming through net for me to

answer my doubts...
