'Anniyan' is Costliest Film in History of Tamil Cinema!

The director Shankar and his team have returned from Amsterdam after shooting a

song for a whopping Rs 1.5 crores! The costliest film in the history of Tamil

cinema is 'Anniyan' (Robot) starring Vikram and directed by Shankar. This is the

first time that they are working together. Oscar V Ravichandran is producing the

film. Two songs have been recorded. Vairamuthu ahd written the lyrics and Harris

Jayaraj had composed music for the film. One of the songs has been picturized at

Amsterdam.shoot sequence lasted 15 days. Amsterdam is famous for its flower

exhibition that happens once every year. The exhibition is going to be the

highlight of the song. Vikram and Sadha have been shot singing duets amidst

these colorful flowers. Vivek is also featured in the song. You could have made

an entire film with the money for that scene alone!
